Restoring Nature

Lets put nature back at the heart of Finsbury Park

Finsbury Park Re-wilding Group

Our Aims
We focus on restoring natural habitats within Finsbury Park.

All our work is aimed at:

1. increasing biodiversity

2. creating community-led projects

3. mitigating ecological degradation and climate change

What we do

LOCAL volunteers meet on the last Saturday of each month (10am–1pm) to plant hedges, trees and do other jobs such as dead wood hedging.

We have lots of exciting projects planned for 2022 including creating a reed bed in the lake.

We are also feeding our vision for the next five years into Haringey Council's Nature Recovery Plan.
We are supported by Edible Landscapes, The Conservation Volunteers and the Park Staff.
